How We Work

D-Clutter Bugs may be referred to you by a community organisation you are involved with, or you may find us on your own.

Whatever it is, our home visitation policies are streamlined and the same for each and every client.

D-Clutter Bugs is not affiliated with any government agency — we are a small family-owned business, and 100% independent.

Our base rate is $45 an hour. This price may increase depending on the difficulty of the job, and the equipment we may need.

The Basics

After a free initial phonecall consultation, our Managing Consultant will arrange a time to conduct an initial in-person visit.

This is so we can meet each other, sort out a plan, and identify particulars about the property.

D-Clutter Bugs charge a one-off fee of $50 for the first on-site visit, unless an agreement otherwise is made.

We will require you to sign our easy-to-understand Services Agreement before entering the property.

This is to ensure that everyone is protected by safety laws — no matter what happens, we can’t come inside until you say so.

While D-Clutter Bugs provides ‘one-off’ whole-of-house cleaning and decluttering services, a number of community bodies and research organisations encourage gradual repeat visitations to help implement meaningful change.

We are a licenced Australian business registered with ASIC and compliant with all rules required of small business NDIS service providers.

Things to Know

We can offer cleaning services if certain properties require immediate treatment.

We can also provide cleaning services as a bundle in the normal course of business, along with decluttering and home organisation services.

In extreme circumstances, D-Clutter Bugs may be required to report certain properties under the Health Act 1911, or other instruments.

We will work with you at every stage of this process, advocating for your rights to understand and prepare for any requirements ordered. We will ensure any communication with agencies is personalised to you, and respectful of your situation. This is our firm company policy, and confidentiality is guaranteed.
